What is the
Queer Resource Network?

The Queer Resource Network (QRN) exists to make queer-inclusive knowledge, tools, and programs easier to access, share, and put into action.

Built by and for community organizations, educators, advocates, and service providers, QRN curates ready-to-use resources—including workshops, facilitator guides, policy templates, training materials, and research-informed content—that support queer, trans, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across diverse settings.

QRN was created to address a common challenge we see across the sector:
too many organizations are doing important work in isolation, reinventing resources under pressure, with limited time and funding.

The Queer Resource Network reduces duplication, strengthens capacity, and helps organizations focus their energy where it matters most—direct impact and community care.

Our Roots

The Queer Resource Network is an initiative of Why We March, a Canadian nonprofit that has spent over a decade supporting queer communities through advocacy, education, and movement-building.

After years of developing programs, training materials, and community-tested frameworks, Why We March recognized the opportunity—and responsibility—to share this work more broadly. QRN represents a return to those roots: collective action, shared knowledge, and sustainable impact through collaboration rather than competition.

What We Offer

Through the Queer Resource Network, members can access:

  • Downloadable workshops and facilitator guides

  • Customizable program and policy templates

  • Training modules and learning resources

  • Licensing options for organizational use

  • Ongoing updates informed by community needs and lived experience

QRN is designed to be practical, adaptable, and values-driven—supporting organizations of all sizes, whether they are just beginning their inclusion work or deepening long-standing commitments.

Our Commitment

The Queer Resource Network is grounded in:

  • Equity, accessibility, and intersectionality

  • Community-led and trauma-informed practice

  • Sustainability for both organizations and people

  • A belief that shared resources strengthen movements

Together, through the Queer Resource Network, we move further—not alone, but connected.

Land Acknowledgement

The Queer Resource Network acknowledges that the land on which we live, organize, and build community is the traditional territory of Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial.

In the London–Middlesex region, this land is part of the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lūnaapéewak Peoples, and is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant—an agreement to share and protect the land and its resources in the spirit of peace, friendship, and respect.

We recognize that this land has been the site of profound resilience, resistance, and survival, and that colonization continues to impact Indigenous communities today. As an organization committed to human rights, equity, and collective liberation, we understand that reconciliation is not symbolic—it requires ongoing learning, accountability, and action.

The Queer Resource Network commits to listening to Indigenous voices, supporting Indigenous-led movements, and reflecting on how our work can contribute to justice, respect, and shared responsibility for the land and for one another.
